Bunny Bowen has been waxing and dyeing fabric since 1980. Her art has taken her around the world to Japan and Malaysia, where batik is recognized as fine art. Her elegant silk scarves reflect fiber techniques learned from many different cultures. She will be demonstrating Rozome, the Japanese form of batik, which she shows as two-dimensional framed work. All is original, no prints.
